« IT WORKS! »

Its a simple product to fit my needs. It works great, no problems. I use this product at work so that we can have a mp3 player plug in through one end, and a cd player through the other. It makes picking music a little bit easier, without the hassle of always unplugging one to use the other. Nice and simple, just the way I like it.

I bought this for an airplane trip so I could plug 2 sets of headphones into my iPad- works perfect and made for a fun time.

I used it to for casual listening. It is fairly good for that purpose. The materials seems to be on the tough side, and plugs are indeed gold plated. When using with my hi-fi phones, I noticed a slight drop in sound quality when this splitter is applied.

While this stereo splitter works just fine, I would prefer it if lead were not used in the rubber tubing. If it means that Belkin's product is a dollar or two costlier, then so be it. I understand that lead might be currently used in electronics, but that doesn't mean it has to be (or at least in amounts that surpass legal limits).

As for the sound quality of the product, I have no problems. I used the splitter to watch movies late at night with a friend, for which it works just fine.

Bottom line: a quality product at a great price. if you're wary of the lead in the product however, i would try a different brand.
