« Shoddy » It works, but not very well. With merely a 1-pound, standard-sized large-diaphragm mic in it (M-Audio Nova), the elastic sags so far that the interior metal frame just barely touches the exterior metal frame in a spot or two, which negates the entire point of a shockmount! Also, after using it only a couple of times, one of the welds that holds one of the pairs of hooks to the exterior frame failed. I repaired it simply by tying that bit back on to the frame with some sewing thread. (!) Rating: (2 out of 5) @ 2008-01-04
