« Excellent DtoA Converter box »

The Zinwell ZAT-970A DtoA Converter box is small, sleek (especially compared to another brand I have) and was extremely easy to set up. It did take a while to understand why it "kept shutting itself off": Sleep mode on is the default. And setting "favorites channels" is extremely unintuitive. Otherwise I'm delighted with it and its good price.

I purchased this converter to replace an RCA that had given out from much use. I liked that it could be powered on by a timer. That feature was new to me, and I liked it. But it lasted just over three months and now will no longer transmit any audio. I have a picture, but no sound. No longer under warranty, it is useless. I cannot recommend it.

« I'm pleasantly surprised with digital over-the-air TV. »

I bought this converter with a Terk amplifying antenna, and I must admit to being pleasantly surprised with the high quality images and good reception I'm getting from over-the-air digital TV. Sure, there aren't many channels I actually want to watch, but the major networks and PBS come in crystal clear. The image seems more crisp and colorful than on the basic Comcast cable package this converter helped to replace.

My convertor works awesome My advise to anyone using an antenna is to make your own. Store bought are junk they pickup interference here is a link to a awesome build your own video just cut and paste it in your browser
