    « Good so far »
One thing I noticed is even after charging 2 hours past "green" the battery drops to 89% within a few minutes after disconnecting. The charge does last more than 24 hours with heavy use GPS, iHeartRadio streaming and web browsing. The original battery would only give me about 5 hours of heavy use and then the phone would be useless while "out and about". Now I can use the phone to its fullest extent without worrying about finding a way to charge. One of the best uses for a "smartphone" to date is keeping yourself occupied while in long lines at an amusement park and waiting in an airport (free WiFi).

« Out of the box results... surprising. »
I don't review things, ever. But of all the things I've purchased on the internet this one has been the most interesting and worthy of review...

The battery has been in my phone for 5:15 hrs and here's my experience so far:

    1) I haven't charged it yet, at all. It went straight from the shipping box into my phone.

    2) It had a little over 50% charge out of the box--that's from eye-balling the battery life indicator on the top. I didn't check the actual percentage in the settings, so that's as accurate as I can get.

    3) I've had wifi on the whole time, though I haven't been connected to a network the whole time. I've also had a live wallpaper running the whole time. I would consider my usage a little heavier than usual--internet videos, web surfing, using some apps etc.

    4) Here is the current read-out in my battery settings:

    GENERAL
    Battery Level: 40%
    Up Time: 5:16:56
    Awake Time: 2:17:42

    BATTERY USE
Shake Them All! (my live wallpaper): 50%
    Android System: 16%
    Cell standby: 10%
    Phone idle: 6%
    Wi-Fi: 5%
    Everything else: 9%

By now my phone would usually be dead, or say connect charger. But it doesn't, it says 40% battery life remains. It's not even the end of day one yet, so I can't exactly give it my seal of approval but if it continues to work like this I will be blown away.

    OTHER NOTES:

The size doesn't bother me. The pictures provided by Amazon are pretty accurate. It's bigger, as advertised.

The plastic case has a soft rubber-like texture. It's strangely pleasant.

I would say that I will post an update after more use... but that's probably not true.

    My two cents.

    « Worry free battery »
I leave 4g on all the time. I have a ton of widgets and push services running. I have enabled background data, gps, and a bunch of other stuff that would normally kill the battery. I don't have any music on my phone, instead I stream music from my home computer using subsonic (probably 2-3 hours a day of streaming music). I use the internet a lot and make a lot of phone calls. Basically I do everything that would normally destroy battery life, but with this battery I always have at least %15 battery life at the end of a 16 hour day. This battery is great and the extra weight and thickness does not a affect me at all.

« A Small Price to Pay Considering »
This biggest problem with the HTC EVO 4G is it is a great product that is limited by its battery size. I used the standard battery for about a week. I quickly realized that even after turning everything off 4G, GPS, killing tasks using Advanced Task Killer, turning the display to low, etc, the standard battery just wasn't powerful enough to let me enjoy a full day of heavy use. However with the extended battery, I can listen to music, play games, make phone calls, serf the web, watch a movie, and still have plenty of Juice. I think the phone is easier to hold with the extended battery as well. I highly recommened this product. It's a small price to pay considering how much more you'll be able to enjoy your phone.

    « 3500 battery for EVO »
I bought this battery but now the camera doesn't work - if I put the original battery back in it works again. Any ideas? Really like the battery - hope I don't need to return. Odd that others don't seem to have this issue. Maybe I got a bad one?
