« Worked Fine for 6 mos. until indicated "Invalid Battery" due to "water damage" »

I had this phone for about two months when it(inside its case), unknowingly to me, dropped off my belt onto a wet and rainy hotel parking lot. Someone found it and turned it in to the hotel. I retrieved it a few days later and found it working fine. However, four months later it started indicating "Invalid Battery." After a couple of calls to Motorola they sent me a new battery, but it still indicated "Invalid Battery." I called them back and got a mailing label to return it for repair since it was within warranty. Within only a few days they returned the phone and said that it had internal water damage which voids the warranty. I can't say that they were wrong due to my experience of dropping it at the wet parking lot. So, was it the drop, or a bad phone from later condensation, or a misdiagnosis?? All I know is that I've got to buy a new phone.

« Easy to use »

A rugged, easy to use phone. No complicated extra buttons that will accidentally activate camera etc. Exterior rubberized texture makes the phone easier to hold and it will not easily slip from your hand. Large and legible display. "Unlocked" makes it relatively easy to transfer SIM card from another phone.

My husband dropped and broke his current phone. When I went to the cell phone company, they told me if I bought a phone from them, I would have to upgrade my plan. They were also kind enough to send me here to purchase an unlocked phone that would work with my existing plan. They phone is great and meets all of our needs. I would recommend it to anyone.

I bought this phone as my 'world phone' since it was a quad band. The battery life is abysmal. I may take it overseas with the hope I don't have to keep charging it. Audio quality is good. Bottom line-it only goes on trips overseas as intended-not for home use.
